Functional Finance & Accounting Experience

    Financial Reporting & General Accounting
  • Hands-on and supervisory controllership experience for various large and small companies, including G/L, A/P, A/R, collections, payroll, tax and treasury functions.
  • Managed all areas of general accounting, including period-end close, G/L account analysis & reconciliation, journal entries/adjustments/inter-company eliminations, consolidations, currency conversion, A/P and financial statement preparation.

  • Prepared and presented the annual operating plan and monthly forecasts in accordance with company objectives for variety of companies including large manufacturing/distribution companies, a software company and a multi-entity international entertainment company. Presented the company's financial results, explanations for performance variance and corrective action plans to the President and COO of the company.
  • Developed, planned and helped execute a comprehensive strategic plan for increasing profitability of existing operations and identify new business opportunities for a $50M food processing company.
